Job Description
Brandstar Entertainment has immediate openings within the business development team for full time Programming Coordinators to work onsite, hybrid, or remote and build a sales career!

Work schedule 8:30am - 5:30pm Mon - Fri

As part of the inside sales team, Programming Coordinators are responsible for initiating contact with high level decision makers at nationwide companies. The main objective is to schedule a follow-up call between the decision maker and a senior member of the Programming team to discuss whether that company’s brand may be a fit for one of our 5 national TV shows aired on Lifetime Network. This position requires phone work and mid-level computer skills. If working remotely, strong internet connection is required.

This opportunity offers base pay PLUS uncapped commission on 5 - 6 figure deals. Average first year earnings for Programming Coordinators is $45k+.

Responsibilities:

  • Call on marketing and advertising decision makers at nation-wide companies to introduce BrandStar and our award winning national TV shows including The Balancing Act, Designing Spaces and Military Makeover.
  • Make 80 outbound calls per day.
  • Conduct research online to identify appropriate decision makers.
  • Schedule appointments for these potential clients with senior members of the Programming team.

Experience and Skills
Requirements:

  • Successful National TV Show Appointment Setter typically have previous experience in business-to-business cold calling that involves outbound calls.
  • 2+ years of outbound, business-to-business, sales and/or appointment setting experience preferred
  • Confident and comfortable speaking with C-Level executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding internet research skills
  • Computer proficiency and intermediate level user of Microsoft Outlook
  • Well organized and professional
  • Inspires others with enthusiasm and positive energy
  • Ability to connect to all types of people
  • Customer Focused, Team Player, and 'Whatever It Takes Attitude'
